The S6 peptide (KRRRLASLR) is a substrate for p70 S6K as well as other kinases such as ILK, PKC, PKM or PKA. Affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-pS6 antibodies were developed with phosphorylated S6 (KRRRLApSLR) and absorbed with non-phosphorylated S6 peptide (KRRRLASLR). This antibody has been utilized for non-radioactive p70 S6K kinase assay.
