Description   Ubiquitin璫onjugating Enzyme E2 C(UBE2C), known as Ubiquitin璫onjugating Enzyme H10(UbcH10), is a 179 amino acid(aa) member of the yeast Ubc4/5 family of Ubiquitin璫onjugating(E2) enzymes and has a predicted molecular weight of 19.5 kDa. UbcH10/UBE2C plays a critical role in the destruction of mitotic proteins which is essential for subsequent events in cell cycle progression. UbcH10/UBE2C recognizes TEK sequences in target proteins, mediates Lys11璴inked ubiquitination, and helps promote targeted protein degradation. Recombinant Human UBE2C produced in E. coli cells is a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 179 amino acids. A fully biologically active molecule, rhUBE2C has a molecular mass of 19.5 kDa analyzed by reducing SDS-PAGE and is obtained by chromatographic techniques at Pepmic.
Molecular Weight   19.5 kDa, observed by reducing SDS-PAGE
Purity   > 95% as analyzed by SDS-PAGE&HPLC
Storage   Lyophilized recombinant Human UBE2C remains stable up to 6 months at -80°C from date of receipt. Upon reconstitution, Human UBE2C should be stable up to 1 week at 4°C or up to 3 months at -20°C.
