Monocyte chemoattractant protein 3 (MCP-3 or C-C motif chemokine 7) is a chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes and eosinophils, but not neutrophils. MCP-3 augments monocyte anti-tumor activity and increases the release of gelatinase B. MCP-3 binds to heparin, CCR1, CCR2, and CCR3. Recombinant Human MCP-3 produced in E. coli is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 76 amino acids with a MW of 9,011 Da.
