Description   Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha (MIP-3-alpha), also known as LARC (Liver and Activation Regulated Chemokine) or CCL20, is a chemotactic factor that attracts lymphocytes and to a lesser degree neutrophils, but not monocytes. Human MIP-3-alpha inhibits proliferation of myeloid progenitors in colony formation assays. This cytokine is strongly up-regulated by inflammatory signals, and down-regulated by the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10. Human-MIP-3-alpha is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain consisting of 70 amino acids with a MW of 8.0 kDa.
Molecular Weight   8000 Da
Purity   Purity > 97% as determined by RP-HPLC and reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE. Protein Content determined by UV spectroscopy at 280 nm and quantitation on SDS-PAGE against a known standard.
Storage   Store at -20°C. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment. Following reconstitution, store at -20°C. We recommend to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) for long term storage.
